A pinnacle of Wisconsin's outdoors, Devil's Lake has become my constant go-to to touch some grass. The lake amongst the "Midwest mountains."

Devil's Doorway
The best park view is accessible by taking the Balanced Rock Trail. Be prepared for a breathtaking view. You have been warned.

Balancing Rock
On your way up to the Devil's Doorway, along the Balanced Rock Trail, you can feast your eyes on this stone-cold beauty!

Other Adventures
to Be Had
Swimming: Devil's Lake has two beaches to sit back, relax, and go for a swim on Wisconsin's summer days.
Kayaking: Bring your kayak to enjoy some time on the water. Don't own a kayak? You can rent kayaks and paddle boards at the park—just no gas motors allowed.
Rock-Climbing: Plenty of thrill-seekers scale the rocks around the lake.
Hiking: If you're having some extra pep in your step, you can take on the full loop around the lake. I'd recommend following the West Bluff and East Bluff Trail for a 6-mile loop!
